Where can we find the QR code?
Just log in to your Weddybird account. Right after you log in, you’ll find your QR code on the dashboard.
You can also customize it to match your style under the “QR code” menu item.
From there, you can download it anytime and use it for all your wedding stationery, from the invitation to the place card.
Do we need to reprint the QR code if something changes?
No. You only need to print it once. You can update, add to, and fill your wedding website with content anytime. The QR code stays the same and always takes guests to the latest version. Whatever you print today will still work a year from now.
Only if you change your wedding website address will you get a new code. As long as the address stays the same, so does your code.
Do our guests need to install an app?
No! Your guests simply scan the QR code, click the link, or type in the address – everything runs right in their browser. No download, no account, no hassle.
Are there any extra costs for the QR code?
No. Every wedding website automatically comes with its own QR code, in every package, including the free Basic package.
Do we have to use a QR code, or can we just write out the link?
Of course you can. But with a QR code, no one can mistype it: one quick scan, and your guests land right on your wedding website, fast and without having to type in a long URL.
Our tip: Also write the link and, if you have one, your password on the card. The link is easy to remember and can be typed in if needed when the QR code isn’t handy. That way, you get both: quick, easy access and a backup just in case.
