Which style feels like you?

Your wedding logo can reflect the style of your celebration. Explore these styles in the designer, each with its own templates.

Wedding monogram

Your initials take center stage, joined by an “&.” Timeless and versatile, from your wedding invitation to a custom stamp.

Wedding crest

Your initials in a shield framed by laurel branches, your names arched above, and your date and location on a ribbon. Elegant and celebratory, perfect for castle and estate weddings.

Seals & stamps

A circular frame with your names and date around the edge. It has the look of an official seal and works beautifully as a wax seal or stamp.

Botanical

Laurel wreaths and delicate branches for garden, barn, and summer weddings. Especially lovely in sage green and gold.

Modern & minimal

Clean fonts, plenty of white space, and geometric shapes like arches, diamonds, and hexagons. Made for city and design-forward weddings.

Watercolor & brushstrokes

A wash of color or a brushstroke behind your names. Romantic and playful, perfect for your wedding invitation and website.

Your logo ties your wedding together, from your save the date to your thank-you cards.

On your save the date and invitation

Your logo gives all your wedding stationery a cohesive look. Add it to your save the date, wedding invitation, menus, place cards, and, finally, thank-you cards.

  • SVG for professional printing

On your wedding website

Your logo welcomes guests at the top of your wedding website before they see the schedule, directions, or RSVP. They'll know it's your wedding at a glance.

On decor and place cards

From welcome signs and place cards to napkins, coasters, and cake, your logo brings your decor together and makes a great photo detail. It also pairs nicely with your wedding hashtag.

As a stamp or wax seal

A stamp with your logo adds a personal touch to envelopes, wedding favors, and your guest book. A wax seal gives your invitations an elegant finish. Stamp and seal makers can make both from your SVG file.

  • Clean lines and simple details look good even at small sizes
  • The “Seal & stamp” and “Laurel wreath” templates work especially well

PNG or SVG: Which file should you use?

Your logo comes in three versions. Here's how to choose the right one.

Transparent PNG

For your wedding website, digital invitations, and cards you design yourselves. At 3,000 pixels with no background, your logo works on any surface.

PNG with background

For sharing in the family group chat, posting on Instagram, or using as a profile picture for your wedding hashtag.

SVG (vector)

For professional printing, stamps, wax seals, engraving, and cutting machines like Cricut. The vector file stays sharp at any size.

These five tips will help you create a logo that feels cohesive and works everywhere.

Match your celebration

A castle wedding calls for a crest and touches of gold; a garden wedding might suit branches and sage green. Take color inspiration from your decor or bouquet.

Less is more

Your logo will often appear small, on a seal, napkin, or phone screen. Clean lines and simple details keep it easy to read.

Initials or names?

Initials are compact and fit on stamps and seals. Full names feel more personal on a welcome sign or website. Many templates combine both.

Think about the date and location

Adding the date makes your logo a keepsake of your wedding day. Leave it off, and you can keep using the logo after the wedding, on thank-you cards or in your photo book.

One logo for everything

Use your logo consistently, from your save the date card to your thank-you notes. Save the link to your logo so you can open it again anytime.

With Weddybird, you can create a wedding website in minutes, complete with RSVPs, a schedule, directions, and a photo gallery. Choose a design that suits your logo, then customize the colors and fonts.

Wedding logo FAQs

A wedding logo is your wedding’s signature: your names or initials, often paired with the date and location, in a consistent font, color, and design. It appears on everything your guests see related to your wedding, giving your stationery, website, and decor a cohesive look.

The classic choice is a wedding monogram made from your initials. A wedding crest places them inside a shield, while a seal frames them in a circle. Modern logos often skip the embellishments and let the lettering do the talking.

It’s best to design your logo early, before you send your save the date. That way, you can use it from the start on every card, on your digital wedding invitation, and on your wedding website. Choose colors from your wedding color palette.

Is the wedding logo maker really free?

Yes. You don't need an account, a subscription, or an email address. Download your logo without a watermark in PNG and SVG formats.

Which file format do we need?

The transparent PNG is great for your website, digital invitations, and cards you design yourselves. The PNG with a background is perfect for sharing in a chat or on Instagram.

The SVG is a vector file, so you can enlarge it as much as you want without losing quality. It’s the best choice for print shops, stamp makers, and cutting machines like Cricut.

For printing, the SVG is your best bet. It’s a vector file, so it stays sharp at any size, from a small stamp to a large welcome sign. Print shops prefer it, too.

The PNG is 3,000 pixels on its longest side. At print quality (300 dpi), that’s good for about 10 inches, perfect for cards, menus, and stickers.

Can we change our logo later?

Yes. Your logo is saved in the page link. Bookmark the link or send it to yourselves using “Share logo.” You can reopen your logo anytime, change details like the date, and download it again.

Whose initial comes first in the monogram?

There’s no set rule. Traditionally, the bride’s initial goes on the left and the groom’s on the right. These days, many couples simply choose the order that looks or sounds best. Click the arrow between your names to switch the order and see which you like better.

Can we turn the logo into a stamp or wax seal?

Yes. Send the SVG file to the maker. Designs with clean lines and few details work best at small sizes, like stamps and seals. Try “Seal & stamp” or “Laurel wreath.”

“Watercolor” and “Brush stroke” are color effects with soft transitions. They work for print and screens, but not for stamps, engraving, or cutting machines. For those, choose “None” as the color effect.

Does the generator work on a phone?

Yes. You can create and download your logo on your phone, tablet, or computer. Then use the link to open it on any other device.

Can we use our logo however we like?

Yes. You can use your logo without restrictions for your wedding: on cards and your website, in print, or as a stamp, seal, or engraving. You don’t need to credit Weddybird.

All fonts in the generator are licensed under the SIL Open Font License. It allows you to create logos with these fonts, including for print. We draw the ornaments ourselves.
